Men keep looking for much younger women. I think that's kind of disheartening and kind of off-putting, too.

I know it's nothing new, but still kind of frustrating when a man, your age, is looking for someone 10 years, 20 years, 30 years younger.

My son, who was like 26 at the time, he looks at me and he says, half your age plus seven.

I said, what the hell does that mean? And he says, you cannot date anybody unless they are at least

half your age plus seven years. Younger men approach me regularly.

It's not a hookup.

We have interesting conversations.

They're significant in my life, but they lead me with space and time to do the other

things I'm passionate about.

Last summer, I had lunch with a 76-year-old man I met through virtual speed dating.

I had a good time, but I canceled a second date because of an unexpected deadline.

offer to come visit, but no follow-through. So all this to say, when it comes to the topic of romance
