A sense of humor and an open mind that is as free of bias as possible, which is obviously problematic being a human being. But that way, at least you're having fun spelunking into all the ontological possibilities

And I really do think that is a great rule of thumb. The problem is it's easier said than done. Here's a glaring example. Death. How do you confront the mystery of death with humor and an open mind?
