think the simplest way to characterize it is to say that there's so much that it seems like there's nothing.

In other words, there are so many options that nothing is special.

We're just spoiled for choice when it comes to everything. So it all

becomes some sort of beige mush, some sort of 21st century first world oatmeal.

It's a weird, weird trap we've sort of collectively, unwittingly

set for ourselves.

It's true on the mundane bullshit levels, that's for sure, but it's also true on the deepest spiritual level.

Obviously, we've all talked so many times about how for most of us traditional spiritual

ining has just become uninspiring too cloaked in culture or superstition or dogma or whatever.

So a lot of us are basically spiritually homeless.
