We start our program here in London because this morning, Britain's Prime Minister,

Secure Stommer, hosted an online meeting of allies, 25 other world leaders,

to discuss concrete commitments to try to

support Ukraine as moves intensify to try to find a way to stop this war.

Secure emphasized that Ukraine was committed to peace, but he said Russia was not.

He emphasized that Ukraine's allies were now accelerating their plans to create a security

force for Ukraine once a ceasefire was agreed. But he said there was also a need to intensify

pressure on Russia. We agreed we will keep increasing the pressure on Russia, keep the military

aid flowing to Ukraine, and keep tightening the restrictions on Russia's economy

to weaken Putin's war machine and bring him to the table.

And we agree to accelerate our practical work to support a potential deal.

So we will now move into an operational phase. Our militaries will meet on Thursday this week,

here in the United Kingdom, to put strong and robust plans in place, to swing in behind a peace

deal and guarantee Ukraine's future security. Secure Stammer. On the ground, the war grinds on.

Ukraine's president, Vladimir Zelensky,

accused Moscow of stalling ceasefire talks

to try to gain advantage on the battlefield.

He also said President Putin was lying about the situation

in the Russian territory of Kursk,

where he said Ukrainian forces were now holding back
