Tedd I was in a squat sled about 10 years ago. Squat sled. Well, your legs are, you're basically sitting on the ground, but your legs are above your head. That's a leg press. It's a leg press, but it's not... Oh, you mean that a gym? Yeah. I thought you meant like you're sledding down a hill like you. No, no. I'm at the gym. I'm doing squats. Well, leg press. A lot easier than squats.

Yes.

I got a pretty good amount of weight on there. The weights, my legs come down. I don't know if it was like the fat for my stomach or the way that my legs kind of went into my rib cage. I broke both the bottom two ribs I had on each side. And it went, pop, pop.

And a guy who was doing exercises beside me looked over and he goes, that wasn't you, was it? And I was like, I'm pretty sure I just broke two ribs. And he's like, oh, man, so I was having a hard time pushing it back up. So he gets behind me and tries to help me put the sled back in place, which is much tougher for him. Yeah. as opposed to use it.

And then I roll over.

And I'm just like, yeah, man.

I, put the sled back in place, which is much tougher for him. Yeah, as opposed to using the head. And then I roll over and I'm just like, yeah, man, that's, and the weird thing about it was it was not the worst place to break your ribs. Those two on the bottom are not nearly as bad as when I fell into the sink and broke the two that were higher up. The ones on the bottom, for whatever reason, just didn't matter. So my question, though, wasn't that bad of pain.

1:11.6

You break ribs.

1:12.8

You know you've broken the ribs.

1:15.4

And the one thing we do know, and doctors will tell you straight up,

1:17.3

that damn thing we can do about it, right?

1:17.6

No. No.

1:18.3

There's nothing.

1:21.6

So is it worth going to the hospital?

1:23.2

I mean, they can give you painkillers.

1:46.3

They can see if your lung is punctured or something, but otherwise, they can't do anything. And I understand, but literally there's nothing we can do about it. That's the only issue. The only issue is, did you puncture an organ? Did you puncture a lung? Did you do anything in the turn? And a lot of times the pain's so bad, you kind of have to. Yeah. You're right. Once you get there, they're going to tell you arrested. Nothing we can do. I feel like you got to check it. I mean, I don't know. It's like fingers and toes, right?

1:46.3

I got to, it. I mean, it's like fingers and toes, right?

1:57.3

I got a buddy and I go, you can go to the hospital. I go, your foot's already black and blue. Like, you clearly broke your two toes. But I go, they're just going to put it in a splint. Yeah. They can put it. Same with a broken ankle or a sprained ankle.

1:58.0

Right.

1:59.2

There's not much you can do about it.

2:00.7

You can do physical therapy after the fact. Sure.

2:01.3

But if you think that you broke it, then they need to put it in the cast.
