It was Super Bowl opening night as the week is underway for the Seahawks and the Patriots out west. So as usual, plenty of nonsense with those who do get credentialed for this event. Speaking of nonsense, Sam Darnold was subjected to, but played nice with Jimmy Kimmel's guy, Guillermo, who showed up to Darnold's booth and told him, everybody is saying gay for May, but not me.

I say, ham for Sam.

He then presented Darnold with a bunch of ham-related items, including a big hat,

which we're seeing on CBS Sports Network right now, shaped and decorated to look like a giant holiday ham,

and he urged Darnold to go ahead and put that on for him.
