First off, congratulations to SMU, you know, great performance by them.

Obviously very disappointing on our end, you know, the things coming out,

are coming into the game, you know, I had a lot of confidence and I thought our guys would respond.

You know, just the first half, you know, we had opportunities.

We weren't able to capitalize on a few, you know, I've got the ball down inside to five.

We had the early to early turnover, you know, we got some pressure on the quarterback, you know. But you got a few

if you missed assignments there. We let guys get free in the secondary. You know, we had too many explosive plays, but still going in a half,

it's a five-point game and it would come out, start third quarter.

Obviously the way that when things did not go well for us we did not respond respond like we needed to.

And you go into the second half,

and as things started just building upon itself.

I mean, that's where we, as a football team,

as leaders, individuals, you know,

we've got to stand up and go and get it fixed.

And you know, there are just way too many mistakes that showed up tonight, you know,

penalties that cost us, extended drives, you know, big plays that were taken

off the board because of a poor technique that resulted in penalties, you know, things that, when we started to get things going or had opportunities to get things going,

just a lot of times where we hurt ourselves and give credit to them.

They took advantage of those of those opportunities

but at the end of day you know that's extremely disappointing. It's embarrassing for

how we how we were in the second half and ultimately we got to make a choice as a football program of what we're willing to allow ourselves
