All right, today's practice was up and down.

And I thought there were good moments.

I thought the defense had a good response to the end.

But, you know, there are times in practice where I just didn't feel the edge that's necessary.

You know, it got challenged, held accountable,

and we're going to be better than what we were today.

And so, you know, for the standard and expectation

of what this football team needs to be,

we got to go, we got to respond.

You know, there's some positions are light in numbers,

you know, due to, you know, different, different injuries or guys that are not quite available yet.

And, you know, we've got some guys that are fighting their butts off, you know, to, you know, maximize the opportunities they have.

And then, you know, there's guys that, you know, are missing out on opportunities to take advantage of some of the reps that they're getting.

So, you know, we got to bring a better edge, you know, throughout.

But, you know, I thought, you know, the defense, you know, middle part of practice was just okay.

I thought that, you know, towards the end, you felt

there, you felt the energy, there's some explosive plays that showed up and, you know, they responded

well. You know, I think that there's, you know, the dynamic, the different dynamics that can

show up throughout the course of a practice, you know, throughout the course of, you know, spring ball, you know, there's competition, there's push,

and, you know, I'm looking for guys to show the edge and, you know, response that's necessary

for us to go and, you know, be what I know we're capable of being.
