I sit here two weeks in, even though they lost two games against two teams that are clearly better,

but the way they lost these games and some of the decision that I personally disagree with, I think you went from 15% to 5%. Yeah, I agree. I think you heard his chances. I agree, because it's the game management part. I know this is for a fact. This is what they were frustrated with Dave's with, is the game management's fact. And they have a team. they have guys up there then Harvard grad

in certain situations but knowing what to do still takes reps. And he just doesn't have reps,

man. And either that or they have their game management book wrong. You know what he's got to do?

You're going to laugh at me when I say this. And I'm like 20% being like honest, the 80% I'm being

kind of stupid. He's got to play Madden all night. I think the more you play Madden and you

battle test yourself or, okay, what do I do in this situation? I mean, you're calling plays. All it is, all it is, I mean, you're joking and it's kind of stupid. 80% joking. 20% being serious. Right. But again, it's kind of stupid. Right. But it is essentially virtual reality training. Yes.

How else are you going to learn that without having reps as a head coach?

You just don't.

There's no vehicle to have reps as a head coach.

That's really the 20% of the truth I'm saying.

Of course, it's a video game.

But in terms of like quick decisions, unless you pause the game, which should be banned, you can't pause the game because then you're stopping like the real time. Right. But if you don't pause the game and you have to really make these decisions, it's working the decision muscle. I kind of like that idea. Thank you. Right. I'm improving that from 20% real to about 57% real. I mean, your brain needs reps. Your brain needs reps. Right. The whole Malcolm Gladwell, 10,000 repetition thing. Now, that's probably debunkable at this point because it was 40 years ago or 30 years ago when he did that, did that book. But still, I think there's a truth to that. You're just more comfortable when you've had more reps at it. Mike Kafka just doesn't have a ton of reps at it. I don't know which coach will be comfortable saying it, and Kafka certainly has the age to do it, but one of these days a coach is going to come out and say, yeah, you know what really prepared me for this job? Played Madden all night. Yeah. Because we are growing up or living in the Madden era.

Like, the Madden video game has been my entire life.

I'm 42 years old. I mean, I don't know this for certain, but I think our military use virtual reality

simulations.
