Hey, this is Bill Bennett, just with an update on election 2022. As we're looking at it,

0:12.5

the House looks to be going to the Republicans pretty likely, 211 now, on 98 for Democrats.

0:22.5

It's 399, got to get 435, that's 36 votes. If the Republicans get 7, the next 35, they've got it.

0:32.6

So likely they will pick up the House. That's good. The Senate, boy, we just don't know at this point,

0:39.6

and it's early Friday morning. It looks very close to Nevada, the Laxall team, which I know

0:46.5

seems fairly confident. Good. Let's assume that happens for Adam. Arizona does not look so good

0:53.4

for governor. I mean, for a senator or Blake Masters, let's for the moment, can't count that out,

0:59.6

but it does look better for governor, Kerry Lake. So we'll see about that. It looks to be a runoff

1:07.0

in Georgia. Georgia's going to be the site of a lot of things called probably going for the

1:12.1

national championship. Same time we're talking about this runoff in December big. I mean, it could

1:19.4

come down to, you know, 4950 again. And if Republicans take it, it's Republicans have the Senate.

1:25.8

And that would be a very good thing indeed. What is the best thing to have? Best thing to have

1:30.6

is clearly Florida, called the Santa's basically Florida voted like Arkansas in terms of

1:36.4

redness. I mean, it was a very red state. He defeated this Democrat opponent by 20 points

1:42.0

extraordinary. And you know, he's had a tough time. He's had two hurricanes, one right now,

1:48.2

but extraordinary. And he's come across and he took Miami-Dade County, which is Hispanic,

1:55.3

rarely taken by Republicans. And so look to the future for on the Santa's. On the bad side,

2:01.7

this was not the red wave. No, we're near the red wave. Red trickle red stream maybe, but not a

2:07.7

red wave. Second, I think we lost governor's houses. And the challenges in Washington and Oregon

2:14.2

didn't work. Tractive candidates there. Republicans were defeated by Democrats. And that's a shame.

2:21.6

Also, you know, we were looking early in the evening of Virginia, three districts, one of them went

2:27.0

to Republicans. The other two contested one in the DC area. It went to Democrats. And another one
