I'm Pete, joined by Darius. No Mike tonight. He's at the arena, probably doing postgame right as we're recording this. And so haven't done the rewatch or anything like that. we're recording right after the game on a night where the Lakers fell to the Pelicans. And in doing so,

probably died their rightful death for the season. It's still mathematically possible that

they make the play in, but between the tiebreaker situation where they are in the standings

and a very difficult schedule

over the last five games. And then just the context of the season. The team doesn't have a whole

lot of mojo going on right now. It's to me tonight, Dee was the night that it ended. And there

are some games, especially recently, where I've been like, man, what are we going to talk about?

How do we say, you know, they didn't play particularly engaged basketball?

We're really hurt. We don't have forwards, right?

We spend five days a week talking about this team and breaking down all of the details of that.

And I think in some ways, we'll do that for this game.

But one thing that struck me tonight was there were so many things that were kind of a

microcosm of the season in general.

And so many trends, so many mistakes that we made, so many circumstances surrounding it, both good and bad, that

I was really struck by that. And I was thinking, how do we talk about this game in particular?
