Hello, welcome on in to the Wolverine podcast. Anthony Broom here with Clayton Safie, Monday, December 23rd, our last show before the holidays, open by saying, Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, happy whatever makes you happy. It's that time of year. So at the end of the day, the time spent with family, friends, or whatever, you know, brings you joy, brings you happiness.

It's however you do that this time of year, say okay with me, I hope you find a way to do that.

This is going to be a little more of a year-in-review type show.

Not a whole lot has gone on in the transfer portal

since last we spoke, although Michigan did pick up a commitment on Saturday from Troy Bowles,

who's the son of Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach, Todd Bowles. We won't get into so much

that. Maybe we get a little more transfer portal in later this week, but

it seems like it was, it's becoming a bit of a tradition. Clayton and I here right before

Christmas on that last Monday episode, sort of putting a bow on the year that was, of course,

last year or next, next week we'll be talking about a bowl game and some other things

down in Tampa. But Clayton, welcome back.

Yeah, it's a dead period now for the transfer portal.

Michigan's got six commits heading into that.

So we'll see how much movement happens.

I guess you could land some guys that visited over the weekend,

pretty star-studded group. And then, yeah, we're just under a week away from Michigan, Alabama to cap off the year.

First day of the year, Michigan, Alabama, last day of the year, Michigan, Alabama.

So a lot's happened for sure in between those.

It is.

And we'll talk about what has happened this year.

We will also discuss maybe some takeaways from the opening weekend of the college football

playoff.
