extremely well, which is why I'm struck by headlines in the New York Times, the Siena Poll, saying that

Donald Trump, the former president, is leading Joe Biden, the current president, by five points in swing states, one of which is

Michigan.

It has Trump 48, Biden 43.

Yes, it's early.

Yes, it's one poll. Yes, it's early, yes it's one poll, yes it's Michigan, and however...

And yes it's the New York Times, John.

Yes, it's the New York Times.

However, I do puzzle if the UAW strike, if the controversy of the COVID is handled by Governor

Whitmer, if the inflation numbers or the cost of gasoline, what is pushing this state which is so

reliably a union state into Trump's corner if it is true that is.

John these are the times in which it is so tempting to wish the New York Times were

accurate but I demur it's a. The left is using the paper of record because the left does not want Mr Biden to run again.

And so the New York Times is trying to warn Democrats that Mr Biden is not the best candidate that they really should look elsewhere.

They're also raising the specter of Trump, which they need to be able to get somebody in,

whether it's Biden or anybody else, in 2024, and motivate their basis. in my opinion of the New York Times, but it does play into the fact that it does confirm

the fact that they are basically a newsletter of the Democratic Party.

They're working their Democratic base towards a specific political outcome.

Now when you also see places like Michigan I think Wisconsin was the one

swing state where Trump was behind by two points but regardless a lot of the polls don't particularly matter so much because we have to look at much of what the left did in the last couple years to solidify many of the changes they made during COVID to expand their partisan advantage within elections and within actually
