Hello everybody. Welcome to the Wolverine 24-7 podcast and the Swarmcast. This is a dual podcast presented by myself, Zach Shaw, and David Eicholt of the Iowa 24-7 site.

And David, we can just start quickly introducing ourselves who we are. We're going to preview the matchup, try to gauge a little bit, get a little bit of the opponent perspective

on this matchup, both sides of things. If you don't know what we're talking about, Michigan

is facing Iowa, a top 20 matchup in Ann Arbor this weekend. So David, go ahead, introduce

yourself to the Michigan listeners, you know, how long you've been doing this for, what you're about, and then

just throwing it in there maybe a little bit on what you've seen from Iowa so far this season.

Yeah, so, I mean, I just started about last August.

I'm fresh out college, 24 years old, but I've been following Big Ten football

for as long as I've been alive, basically. But yeah, David Eichol, you can follow me at

D-E-I-C-K-H-O-L-T-24-7 on Twitter. Iowa's been, I think they've just been taking care of

business, quite frankly. I mean,

the Iowa State matchup was really weird. The most highly anticipated game, I think, in series history. But with all the injuries, Iowa has suffered this year, it's still pretty remarkable.

They've somehow found a way to be a really tough Iowa State team, but Alaric Jackson offensive tackle is going to be coming back.

A couple members of the secondary is going to be coming back.

But I think Iowa offensively, they only have one turnover this year, which came on a weird fluke, kind of lateral from Brady Ross, the fullback.

But Iowa's taking care of the ball.

The defense has played at a pretty high level.

They're fourth in the country in scoring defense, 8.6 points per game.

And the special teams has been about as reliable as I think any fan could have wanted

Keith Duncan, 10 of 11 field goals for the year.

And Michael Sleep Dalton, the graduate transfer punter from Arizona State,

averaging about 45.5 yards per punt.
