Hi, I'm Jim Cutler, and this is Over the Horizon.

In 2016, when Donald Trump was elected, a lot of Democrats were very concerned, some

were appalled that he actually won the election, and many of them even went so far as to say that he was not their president.

But during that campaign, a lot happened and a lot was revealed.

And sources like WikiLeaks, even the mainstream press, social media,

all started publishing and talking about things that were going on in the Democratic

Party, in the Hillary Clinton campaign, and in other aspects of the Democratic National Committee.

That information was very disturbing. And a lot of Democrats listened to that, took it all in,

and started deciding that things had gone really wrong

in the Democratic Party and started leaving.

That movement was called Walk Away.

Joining me today is Tammy Batista.

She's a schoolteacher, a mother of four, and a lifelong Democrat who left the Democratic Party herself in March of 2020.

So you wrote a letter that was published on Twitter.

I believe this was a blog on your blog post.

And it was a long letter and very eloquent letter.
