Fire and Fury by Michael Wolf has given us a raw and troubling view inside the Trump White

House, but the book and its author are controversial. I asked the

legendary New York media reporter about his sourcing, his access, and details in the

book that have everyone talking, including his conversations with Trump himself.

We sat down a few days ago for an event with politics and pros at 6th and I here in Washington.

What you're about to hear has been edited for content and clarity. Okay, before I get to the how I wanted to start this, I was curious that I mentioned this to Michael.

This is Washington, D.C., a book event for a book that has set this town on fire.

And I was curious, I was wondering, hmm, who's here? We there, we're in a, at least in terms of party registration, a Democratic city,

but in terms of power, the House, the Senate, and the White House are Republican controlled.

So Michael said, well, I'd be curious to find out too.

So I don't know if anybody how many Democrats are here?
