Let's get to it the week for NFL awards. The first award is the can we still blame Jason Garrett award that goes to Dallas Cowboys fans everywhere because you love beating up on him all of the time.

And now guess what your offense is kind of good because you're always down and look, DAC is putting up insane numbers is to quick shout out to one number here.

Dac press got by the way now he has six 1,690 passing yards to four games the most in NFL history through four games. The second most was Kurt Warner with a 2000 Rams where he was at 1,557 yards. So we're talking over 100 yards ahead of Kurt Warner's pace.

Great to show on turf 20 years ago. There's a few reasons why offense is out of control. By the way offense going into this past weekend averaging just under 25 points per game that 16% better than just a year ago 22% higher during the average the previous two decades.

And that is because offensive holding has been cut dramatically in half. I think the numbers are floating somewhere around 50% lower.

And I guess it's a league mandate. So if you go around and research and I know guys have mentioned it here or there, but it's absurd. We have no holding and that means are very few holding calls and that means offenses are out of control.

But DAC has been out of control because the team is giving up a million points. Let's review some history here. So Dallas has now allowed after a 49 38 loss of the Browns where the Browns actually ran it for 307 yards worst in Dallas history.

I believe these are some of the most ridiculous Cleveland numbers is they're running the football like this isn't just Baker. They're moving Baker around the rolling them out. They're doing some things they look like I mean Baker looks like a different guy, but this isn't Baker just lighting up defenses. They have balance and they're actually using auto Beckham Jr.

Shocking development. So this defense how bad is it it's this bad they've allowed 36.5 points per game, which would project is the single worst scoring defense in team history.

And it's almost 10 points worse than their other worst defense as far as scoring per game. Now I imagine an average out of here a little bit, but all the good will after the Atlanta comeback.

It doesn't really mean anything because Dallas is now one in three a good loss to the Rams. I think we like the Rams. That Falcons come back great the Seahawks.

Like some of these games they look close like it'll be misleading for weeks to mouth Dallas puts you get a little stretch and people say well, you know they played the Seahawks to one score game and they were close there with the Browns late.

I don't know like and I'm not going anti DAC by any means and he's putting up huge huge numbers, but it is a defensive problem first. I mean there should be no time spent on what's do what's DAC doing wrong. I did that last week, but I mean this is out of control with how bad they've been Mike McCarthy said afterwards we're not going to be a one called defense and talk about Mike Nolan the decordinator who I guess hasn't been a coordinator in six years.

But here's a thing is a non football guys observation why wouldn't you want to make the defense a little bit simpler they've benched some guys in the secondary Jalen Smith linebackers getting a lot of the criticism the edge guys aren't doing necessarily that much and yet you can you look at Dallas is too deep you go look at all this talent like this team should not be one in three and the fact is that they're still in the NFC East.

And I say that is if there was any debate on whether or not they could move to another division, I don't believe that'll happen. You can go ahead and report that but the point is that division is so so bad that you're still kind of alive despite being one and three but that defense is terrible and I would think you would want with a new staff and a new system and a bunch of new pieces on that side of the football that you'd want to make things a little bit simpler because whatever they're doing now is it working.
