| 1:15.1 | This was by far the most progressive bold platform agenda that the DNC has ever put out. But I wanted to talk about one particular issue. |
| 1:25.0 | I made a speech about legalizing marijuana in support of a motion to legalize marijuana federally. |

| 1:32.0 | When I represent a young black kid for trafficking marijuana in South Carolina or his criminal offenses |
| 1:39.2 | are stacked one after another and their white boys in Colorado in California making a billion dollars |
| 1:44.9 | off of it. I just see the inherent unfairness of that. And I also think we have to invest those |
| 1:50.1 | dollars into the communities that were disproportionately affected by the war on drugs. |
| 1:54.7 | And so I'm asking you guys to take a leap of faith. |
| 1:58.5 | I'm asking us to be on the right side of history. |
| 2:01.0 | I'm not going to speak long because one of the things that I want to understand and I do understand is that we are playing on the same team here. |
| 2:07.0 | And I want to do everything we can to make sure that Joe Biden is the next president of the United States. |
| 2:14.0 | I have a I actually have an amendment very similar to what I just articulated that I will pull down because I only want us to debate this issue one time. |
