week's episode I want to dive into two topics that I thought would be interesting to discuss. And this week we have with us a very special guest. You guys know him at a scatology mat as well. Keith Voski, thanks for coming on the show.

Yeah, so diving into the stories this week, one of the big stories is related to the

denomination CREC.

What happened recently this week was Michael Foster,

you might know him as a pastor out in Ohio,

wrote book, It's Good to be a man.

He is one of the elders over at East River Church, and they recently voted to resign their membership from the C-R-E-C over this topic of sacramental reciprocity. I don't want to necessarily rehash all those debates there, but I want to use this as a good example of here's a moment in which Christians are disagreeing but are able to kind of part ways amicably and just want to kind of talk about how this is a good example of how Christians should interact in these sort of situations. Keith, I'm sure you probably heard about this, trying to get some thoughts on how you see the situation developing.

First of all, I want to mention I do have a friendship with Michael.

He's been on my show before, but also even before he was on my show he and I have spent some time

talking together and he had told me that this was coming I guess a while back

we had had a wonderful conversation about his church and I was talking to him about some things that were going on at my church and he told me that they were considering at that point departing from the CREC and his big his at

least from what I gathered from our conversation the big thing with him was he wanted to make sure that it didn't look like it was, you know, an angry or vengeful or spiteful departure. He just they had some differences like you said and they wanted to do it in a way where they maintain their friendships, they maintain their relationships, but they went a different direction.
