I'm Stuart Mandel, joined as always by Bruce Feldman for an action-packed Wednesday episode.

We've got a lot to hit on.

The committee spoke Tuesday night in Alabama,

not Miami, is in line for the last at large spot. We are going to get the reaction from the

man himself, Mario Cristobal, head coach of Miami here in a minute. And then after that,

our friend Ralph Russo is going to join. We are going to go over more of the fallout

from the Tuesday night rankings and what it means for the playoff. And also Bruce and Ralph

are part of some interesting reporting about a possible, maybe possibly new coaching destination

for Lincoln Riley. So let's start out with our guest. All right, Stu, we are pleased to be joined by our guest today.

He's probably the one person you most want to hear from right now in the middle of all the CFP drama from the penultimate rankings.

That is Mario Cristobo, the head coach of the Miami Hurricanes.

Mario, what was your thoughts when you saw that get unveiled yesterday?

Well, disappointment. I think we know how important it is and how hard it is to win in

college football. And when a team wins 10 games as opposed to another team's 9, and especially

when, you know, the two losses we've had are down to the wire,

you know, last possession type games as opposed to, you know, blowout losses or stuff of that

nature, or one blowout loss, I should say. And again, and again, I respect all the teams involved.

I do. I have total respect. And notice this conversation is about that,

those last couple spots. I'm not talking about the first ones, right. But just really, really

disappointed that it was not assessed justly and fairly. This is the second straight year. And we're saying

this, assuming this is what the final ranking will look like as well,
