It is Monday, December 22nd, and we have completed the first round of the college football

playoffs, the play-in round, as I call it. And had two pretty banger games and then two games that are exactly what everyone thought they would be. Just embarrassments to the whole premise of having a 12-team playoff. I mean, JMU gave Oregon some fits late. It was definitely, obviously, they didn't cover. Oregon didn't cover, which I have a bad beat story about that one to talk about. But in the end of the day, those group of five teams didn't belong. How much better would life have been if Notre Dame and BYU were sitting in those spots and you could get a rematch. Orr, I mean, come on, Notre Dame, Oregon. Who doesn't want to watch that? But nonetheless, I also think I think I went four for four. I think I'm undefeated in the playoffs right now. Yeah, dude, I, you know, it's funny. I feel like I was right about my Oklahoma pick, but I was wrong. But I feel like I was right. You know, the way the game opened up. Ty Simpson went from not healthy to healthy in the span of like 10 minutes.

That was pretty crazy.

Crazy, right? I know that was a really good football game. And I, you know, it was funny seeing the Michigan reaction afterwards. So we're going to talk about Michigan as well because this coach has been hilarious. Oh, there's no doubt. And I think right now there's, uh, I just, I had to go to the store to get milk. and right there on the side of the carton,

Where the fuck is Ryan Williams? This freak show freshman that was just him and he's, Bama fans were telling us, he's better than Jeremy Smith. Right. I just want to know where the fuck he went. One catch for five yards. Just completely ghost ghosted non-existent wild

productive version a less productive version because maybe ryan will never actually getting open. He was just great at combat catches and it was like, fuck and he's down there somewhere. Like last year, he looked like O'Dow Beckham Jr. Right now I'm realizing he might be closer to Will Fuller, but, you know, if he's Will Fuller, where's he at, you know? So it is cool kind of watching the way that offense worked out and the way that offense did things

because for them to be able to come back like that, you would say, okay, there's no way they were going to come back unless Ryan Williams goes crazy. Because that's what happened in the Georgia game last year. Like that was it. It was like when Ryan Williams wills them, their offense gets moving. And it wasn't that at all. No, not at all. It's actually shocking to me. And I'm going to get into it in depth in the coaches report because I think what, what we learned is there might not be a contender coming out of the first round. I mean, I think, I think we're going to live in a world where the final four is one through four seeds.

And that's why, and that's why I want to have the G5 debate with you because I think the G5 is catching way too many strays this weekend.

And I would love to actually talk about it.
