Summary

Welcome to the Multi-FAMILY zone podcast, where business meets family. The hosts of the show, Julia and Gino Barbaro, have been married for over twenty years, and have six children. Julia homeschools the children, and recently became a marriage and life coach to help couples become better communicators and help enrich their lives. The couple is constantly asked about how they balance their entrepreneurial and real estate journey while raising their kids. The Multi-FAMILY zone was created to address these questions, along with a host of questions from the Jake and Gino community. In this episode, Gino and Julia talk about Values. Life is about choices and values. Our values reflect the things that matter the most to us. When we live our best life and our most authentic life, it is usually lived from our values. Our values are an important part of the decision process and really define who we are as people. You can literally take your core values list and use them as a guide in your decision making process. Your values become a guide for what you say “yes” to and what you say “no” to. A life that is in sync is a life that makes decisions consistent with one’s core values. 0:34.4	But the real question is, what are your values and are you living up to them?
0:38.9	Because a lot of us, you know, we first of all, we don't think about them, but once we do figure
0:43.3	them out, we name them. And then we are living our life, but not according to the values. And that's
0:51.1	something that I want to touch on. So so julia why don't you give the listeners
0:54.3	some values sure so my favorite one is integrity because to me honesty is so important and i
1:04.5	and i live by it because it's that important to me so you, all of you out there is honesty important to you.
1:12.6	And think about in a relationship that you're in, are you an honest person?
1:16.6	Because that actually means a lot to a lot of people, I hope, right?
1:22.6	And so what if you're in a situation where you're with someone who is not honest?
1:28.4	What do you do?
1:29.6	What do you do in that situation?
1:31.8	I don't know.
1:32.9	What do you do?
1:36.3	Well, that's something to talk about, I think.
1:40.2	And that's, you know, if you're in a situation like that, to talk openly to the person is so important.
