let's jump right into the week that was. I think before we get into a little bit of uniform

talk and injury talk, let's talk about the actual games. It feels like the Mets had a start of the

season where they couldn't win a game and then they couldn't lose a series.

And now they're finally leveling off a little bit here, Joe, playing closer to a 500 baseball team.

The week that was is fantastic.

I think this all comes down to when you talk about baseball the way we do on this show, everything is timing.

If we did this show Sunday afternoon, we'd have a completely different discussion than we do

here on Tuesday afternoon, where obviously the Mets swept the Pirates at home, which was fantastic,

going to L.A. and taking two out of three, where the Mets, we know the West Coast problems that the Mets have had year over year.

And being able to get to Yamamoto a bit on Friday after the conversation we had surrounding him for the entire offseason,

I think all in all, it was a great week for the Mets on the field as far as winning

games. And we just happened to be talking after back-to-back losses. So it feels just a tad bit
