This feels different.

But no, it feels different because of what you said on Friday night on our air and on Twitter about how it felt at City Field. And yeah, like the crowds were loud.

You've heard that by now that they sold a lot of tickets and that the vibe at City Field was

great. But I think more so, Andy, it feels different because this workday felt like, you know, Mets fans are clamoring to

hear about their team. And there are fans that are coming out of the woodworks and that's okay.

That's part of being hot. And I don't know. It just, it feels like we're in a different place than

we've been in a really long time. Oh, sure, because the team's independent race.

I do think that the Edwin Diaz, the way they lost, not that they were already trailing,

but watching Diaz struggle on Sunday did probably remind Met fans of some of the harsh reality

that has spoiled the season so far.

And I don't know, I'm not a Metfan, obviously, so I don't know how much that has diminished.

If it's just like, ah, it's just one day, or if it's like, ugh, because Diaz was bad again.

So I don't know how Met fans feel about that.

Well, I think Met fans view it as a hurdle that they knew existed, but it did get in the way of them potentially making another comeback on Sunday.

Oh my God, it did swept the Nationals.

Like, give them the World Series trophy now.
