to the show to talk about the last couple of days, which have been crazy. So Chris, we really

appreciate the time. How are you holding up? We're a little tired, but we got through it. We're

excited about this class. We're ready to get them in here and get them going. So before we talk about

all the players that are now in the Mets system, for the Mets fans that

don't know much about you yet, what was your road into scouting at such a high level?

So I got done playing at the Cubs organization back in 03, moved to Chicago because I had a friend working up

at Stats LLC, which is a company that charged a lot of baseball games.

But from there, started networking, going to see some high school games, basically

befriending some scouts and it developed into a part-time role, developed into an airy scout
