All right, we are live and the New York Mets, despite being a punchline since basically the day of the franchise's birth and a running joke for

almost its entire run.

Found a way to lose yesterday on Wednesday, June 21st.

That was honestly one of the most impressive things I've seen them do.

The fact that the Mets could one up themselves and put on that first inning,

which I said that first inning, I texted it to you guys, was a console event.

That was a moment in time where it had to happen,

and we probably lost a lot of people to the console.

And if you thought they were winning that game yesterday after that first inning,

there was just no way.

And it would probably be by the exact number of runs that the difference ended up being.

And it was literally the longest day of the year.

June 21st is the longest day year.

It's a scientific fact, and it somehow made it feel even longer yesterday

for a series that the Mets could have somehow won every game, and at the very least,

just taking the series two out of three. And to come away from that Astro series with one

win and our sixth rock bottom of the year, seventh maybe rock bottom of the year,

I don't even know what to say right now.

I was in the middle of an interview during that game because we've played 50,000 day games
