Rogers, joined as always by my co-host, Joe DeMayo.

And right before we started recording, we have some Mets news as the team has agreed to a one-year,

$6 million deal with Tommy Fam to provide a little bit more punch on this bench,

a little bit more depth to the outfield. Joe, it's been a busy 10ish days, I would say,

for the Mets connected to Andrew McCutcheon, Adam Duvall, Tommy Pham was obviously in the mix

the whole time as well. This seems like a no-brainer addition to the team. It's not Star Power

in any sense, but this team absolutely needed depth to this outfield. So what did you think of

this move? He's exactly what he is. He's fourth outfielder. That's what they needed. He hits

left-handed pitching historically. He was in the top 7% in baseball last year in average exit

velocity. He's an above average athlete. Doesn't really chase pitches. Strikes out a lot on pitches, but more so in the zone.

So it's not a perfect player.

It's a fourth outfielder.

And I know there's a lot of outrage over Tommy Fam for some reason today.
