Professor Richard Epstein, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, teaches law at NYU and the University of Chicago.

And during the recent pandemic,

Richard had much to say about dissent

of some of the opinions voiced

from the Trump administration and the Biden administration.

And some of those opinions turned on controversial matters at the time,

but we learned from Mark Zuckerberg writing a letter at the end of August that the suspicion that there was

censorship, active censorship underway, is now apparently vindicated by Mr Zuckerberg's confession.

I read from the letter he wrote addressing Jim Jordan chairman of the committee on the

judiciary in other words the committee on the judiciary, in other words, the GOP in the House.

In 2021, senior officials from the Biden administration, writes Mr Zuckerberg, including the White House, repeatedly

pressured our teams for months to censor certain COVID-19 content, including humor and satire, and expressed a lot of

frustration with our teams when we didn't agree. Ultimately it was our decision whether or not to take content down, and we own our decisions, including

COVID-19 related changes we made to our enforcement in the wake of this pressure.

Richard, that is a long-winded way of saying,

the White House ordered us to censor and we obey.

Now, what have we learned from this episode

because Megh is going to remain a powerful global

phenomenon and the White House is moving on the administration has months left.
