for their first visit to the United States in over two and a half long years.

And although my daughter and I, you may remember, we're able to visit Liverpool together last November.

But why for my three other kids, they have not seen my folks since, well, before the pandemic began.

A devastating void in terms of human connection and family memory making.

And you may remember, we headed back to London.

We actually planned to spend a week with my parents over spring break,

only for my mum to call possibly the most heartbreaking call I've ever received.

We were literally on the flight about to head over to London to meet them.
