What a raise, my third first birthday of the day to our friend, Geo Rainer, who tomorrow in the Europa League will take the field for Dortmund against Rangers. His father's old club now managed by Geo Van Bronkhorst, Claudio's old teammate and great friend, the man after whom Geo is named, which is genuinely mind-boggling.

He must be feeling a marker rose, the Dortmund manager was asked about this beautiful moment in the Smolnix press conference and he said, quote,

and Bronkhorst already knew him when Geo was still crapping his pants, which I'm guessing he meant when Geo was a baby and not, you know, last week, he wants to show his name giver. I love that. I'm sure the Germans have a word for that. His name giver.
