This is part two of the Melvin Rainey episode, The Falmouth Fox, just to recap a little bit from the last episode.

In the late 1960s, Melvin Rainey was known as the local criminal, the local pain in the buttocks,

I guess you could say.

But he was more than that, really.

He was responsible for a string of arsons that plagued Falmouth, Massachusetts,

a seaside town on Cape Cod, probably, you know, seven, eight, nine arsons.

He eventually got arrested for it and sentenced the prison. He ended up doing about

18 months out of like a five or seven year sentence. He originally started his prison term in a

prison called Walpole, located in Walpole, Massachusetts. But at the time, it was Massachusetts maximum security prison,

and it was, I think I described it as a hellscape last time, and that may actually be underestimating it.

But once he got out of prison, he was discharged eventually from a prison farm, I believe, in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
