1:02.7	Before the jury was even called in, the very first thing that happened was the DA saying that the
1:07.8	state wanted to introduce evidence via certified letters showing that the alleged
1:12.2	ex-boyfriend Hunter Wood was involuntarily committed to a psychiatric hospital and evidence
1:18.5	showing he is currently receiving treatment as well as an order showing that he had to undergo a
1:23.6	psych evaluation. Afterwards then the jury was finally called in. And the state, what did
1:29.6	they do? Well, they immediately rested. And then, as soon as the jury was then sent out of the room,
1:36.2	again, the defense asked, what did they ask for? In acquittal. Judge Goodwin denied the acquittal and cited multiple reasons for his decision, including the way Evelyn was found upside down in a trash can, how Megan acted on social media, the amount of evidence against her and her many conflicting stories.
1:56.7	It was then announced that Megan would not be testifying in her trial.
