at a mayor's race that has already echoed through the American political system thanks to the rise

of 34-year-old Democratic Socialist Zoran Mamdani. In New Jersey, Democrat Mikey Cheryl seeking

to head off a fierce challenge from Republican Jack Chittarelli in a major test of whether

Republicans can solidify President Trump's gains from last November in a typically blue state.

In Virginia, Democrat Abigail Spanberger is looking to flip Virginia's governor's mansion

facing off against Republican winsome Earl Sears.

The candidates making their closing arguments in the closing hours of the campaign.
