is scrambling toward the year-end finish line as lawmakers and the White House

wrestle with a number of unanswered questions on key issues facing the

country including an impeachment inquiry to the president, a crisis at the border, and still no

additional wartime aid for Israel and Ukraine. With lawmakers about to leave town

House Republicans laid down a clear marker for their agenda in 2024, formally voting to authorize an impeachment

inquiry into President Biden.

Here's what committee chairman James Comer and Jim Jordan who were spearheading the investigation had to say after that

vote passed along party lines. The House has now spoken and I think pretty

loudly pretty clearly with every single Republican voting in favor of moving into

this official impeachment inquiry phase of our constitutional duty to do
