And I'm Jesse, editor, focus on the Family Clubhouse magazine.

Today on the podcast we're chatting with two of the stars of this month's Club Adventure, Fishing for Gold.

In that episode we get to see a new side of our favorite small town detective, Don Pullhouse.

And it started with his granddaughter. Yes, his granddaughter, her name is Molly and she's played by Tessa Espinolla.

And her best friend, Alison, is played by Brenley Brown. Both of them are first time adventures in Odyssey actors.

We wanted to talk about their experience on our show, their experience using social media, and their experience just being kids.

Welcome, young ladies. It's so great to have you on the podcast.

It's so great to be here. Thank you for having us. Yeah, I'm so excited.

Yeah, whenever guests join us for the first time, we like to find out how they got here.

So how did both of you get started into voice acting?

It's kind of a funny little story. I'll say I grew up singing actually in my church and started writing songs super young.

And I was playing an open mic night actually in the Los Angeles area at around 11 years old.

And a vocal contractor from Disney Animation was actually in the audience and came up to me after the show and asked if I had done anything in voice over.

And I hadn't done anything in voice over yet or had any experience in that.

But she kind of gave me my first opportunity to work in voice over.

And it was incredible. And ever since then, I have continued to do it and kind of fell in love with working in voice over.

So that's kind of how I got my start. So Brenley, what was that first job?

The first project I ever worked on was Disney, Sophia, the first. I started singing for the show.
