Now another guest appearance by another New York City, mayoral hopeful.

We're inviting all the major candidates running in the primaries for mayor of New York and governor of New Jersey.

Today it's New York City Comptroller, Brad Lander, hoping to move up that one last peg, since Comptroller is already a citywide elected office,

up one more peg, and become mayor of the city after overseeing the city's finances,

as the Comptroller does, and being a leader of the city council's progressive caucus

as a council member from Brooklyn before that.

Mayor Adams has abandoned it in so many ways.

Obviously, some of them he's under indictment for.

But some of them are as simple as not coming and talking to reporters.
