The notion of an edge and the competitive edge, the advantage that you have, I do want to explain

to people who the fuck you are, because you're not merely just some random guy. Your day job,

for those who are not familiar with what it is, is what? I'm a founding partner in a hedge fund.

I used to work at Bridgewater, which is the largest hedge fund in the world.

I left with my then-boss now partner five years ago.

We run our own hedge fund, doing this stuff by day, and then, you know, in my spare time,

I'm doing a lot of the sports batting type things, the survivor pool, playing poker.

How do you describe yourself to people who've never met you before?

I'm not sure about what I'm like as a person, but the one thing I really enjoy the most and

think I'm good at is playing competitive games.

And in particular, the part of the game that's sort of at the highest

level of abstraction, like how does this game work? What are the key levers for success? How do you

think about this game from a fundamental level? And how can you create an edge in whatever it is that

you're doing? Whether it's finding the fastest route to get somewhere or,

you know, doing my day job or doing this circus survivor. It's just sort of what I do and what I

enjoy across everything.
