So as our listeners know, we here on the bench love delving into the minutia, focusing on the little nuts and bolts of Florida State football and

recruiting and that's especially true this time of year when we're

hyper focused on preseason camp and all the rumors that are going on with

camping and who's hurt who who's playing, all that good stuff.

And it's easy to kind of forget that, you know, there's a football game coming up and,

oh, I'm trying to do the math of days on the top of my head, but easier to say it this way.

We're less than a week from it being game week.

And Florida State opens its 2019 season in Jacksonville against Boise State.

Boise State, as you guys all probably know, if you're my age, I'm in my 30s,

grew up watching Boise State kind of developing that reputation as the giant killer.

Boise State is not going to be scared to come on the road and play Florida State.

It'll be interesting to see what the talent level and whether there's a discrepancy or not

throughout the course of that game in the

opener in Jacksonville but Boise State is going to be a really interesting

opponent for FCU to open the season with. So with that in mind I wanted to get some Boise State perspective on this

podcast and I wanted my listeners and our listeners here on on the bench to be more
