buds with Carl Cantonia and John Ford. Today coinbase announces it will flush 20% of its workforce.

That stock is now more than 80% since it's April 2021 IPO.

We're going to talk to one analyst who says brighter days are ahead plus a media stock resurgence. We will

break down bull calls on Warner Brothers Discovery AT&T and Disney and

and later we are live at the JPMorgan HealthP. Morgan Health Care Conference here in San Francisco,

the CEOs of both Medtronic and Novartis join the show this hour.

Let's get a look at how the broader markets are faring about an hour and a half into the

trading session. After a muted start we are seeing the major index as move higher.

The down industrial is up about 2 tenths of a percent.

The NASDAQ composite up a similar amount,

and the S&P 500 up about one-tenth of a percent.

This comes ahead of a crucial earnings season and a pretty strong start to the year.

Let's stay with the markets and the recent valuation reset that we have seen in stocks, especially the tech-related sectors.

Domchu joins us with a look at how far we have come down.

Dom I guess that depends on what point in history you're coming from.

So let's take a look at just the last few years because we've seen some very big swings in terms of

stock prices and valuations just since the COVID lows that we've seen to the post-recovery

highs and then down to where we are again right now.

So if you look at the S&P and the NASDAQ 100, we're still talking a little bit about this notion

that stocks are trying to find some appropriate valuation
