Hello my friends it's time once again for the morning mindset. Welcome back. We're here

to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's word today. And the concept I want you to have

in mind as we begin today is the concept of maturity versus immaturity. We see this kind of

concept in all different realms of life.

I mean think about a mature oak tree versus an oak sapling, which is the immature version.

The mature oak tree is huge and can cover you and shade you and provide a place for

birds to nest. The sapling cannot do any of that stuff and it's a difference in growth and in time and in maturity right well today we're

going to be looking at the issue of measuring our Christian maturity we're

going to be looking at Ephesians 4, 11 through 13. Before we get started, though, I want to invite

you to join me in spreading the news about the morning mindset. If you could just prayerfully consider who's one person in your life who could benefit

from what you received in the morning mindset. It's real easy. Just share the morning

All right, friends, as we begin, let's pray that God will teach us how to grow in our maturity today.

Lord God we are grateful that you don't want us to stay stagnant you don't want us to

remain immature and that you actually have equipped us to become mature

in Christ. Teach us the mindset that is behind that today. We're asking it in Jesus' name,

Amen.

Okay, Ephesians 4, 11-13 says,

and he, Jesus, gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds, and teachers,

to equip the saints for the work of men. the attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the son of God to

mature manhood to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
