story about a firefly that helps her to become a zoologist.

Here goes.

Every day, McKinley loved to play with her kittens.

She came home every afternoon after school, and she spent hours playing with her five small

kittens.

One afternoon, she was playing with her kittens in the backyard of her house.

While playing, McKinley noticed that one of the kittens looked a little weak and sick.

It sat in the corner of the yard, and it kept its eyes closed.

McKinley stopped playing, and went to be near the kitten.

She put her hands on its back, and petted it gently.

It said, McKinley, even though the kitten was still breathing, but it didn't open its

eyes.

She sat beside her kitten till the evening, and wept in worry.
