Hello and welcome to a Monday edition of always college football. I'm your host

Greg McElroy. We appreciate you being here. It's October 14th

2024 and we hope that you're enjoying the show wherever it is that you're consuming it and we always

appreciate those of you that have taken the extra time to leave us a rating or leave us a review.

We've seen our ratings going up drastically by the way. You guys have

answered the challenge. We were sabotaged. We were 5.0 or a 4.9 last year on

December 1st, but something happened between December 1st and December 5th, a team was left out of the playoff, and therefore it's our fault. Clearly, at always college football. But y'all have pushed back and we very much appreciate you for that. I am looking forward to today's show very much.

If you're new to always college football, it's our 10 takeaways and it's a kind of a strange week

because I'll explain why in a moment but it's just my thought process has

changed in college football. It used to be the sky is falling the world is over in the event in which you lost

it's not that way anymore it's almost like the sky is falling more when you win close against a team that you're supposed to beat

Significantly that's the stronger reaction

Which to me is very strange, but I'll explain why here in a bit we'll dive into a bunch of different topics.

We'll hit some of the big games from this past weekend now that we've had a chance to really dive in and

watch the tape have a better reaction. We'll hit Penn State, we'll hit Ohio State, we'll hit Oregon. It will hit the SEC

hard in the back half of the show because I think there's some really interesting

takeaways in the SEC right now that you guys won't want to miss.
