Sometimes you just know when a marketing team is having fun.

And in the case of Burger King, they've seemed downright gleeful this year as they turn out

campaign after campaign trolling McDonald's.

But BK's latest opportunity to poke fun at their rival fell in their laps last month when

McDonald's lost the European

trademark on their signature sandwich, the Big Mac. This after a legal battle with an Irish

restaurant chain called, get this, Supermax. Now, use of the term Big Mac is officially on the

table for every business in the EU, including Burger King.

And use it they have. In a campaign that took trolling to new heights, Burger King Sweden rolled out a new

menu featuring classic BK sandwiches with snarky new names.
