Well, it's just not as bad as you think it is.

Sounds like something the Biden administration would say, but no, this is coming from the president of McDonald's.

He wrote an open letter to all of their customers claiming that their prices, they're not as bad as what you think they are they've only gone up

40% since the pandemic so basically since 20-20 I think the the the

since 2019 you've seen about a 40% price increase on food at McDonald's

yeah and now four out of five people consider McDonald's a luxury well is that what you would call it?

You know, we've had this conversation many times, Casey, which is,

we're, I mean, this is some of the people really need to be aware of.

Obviously, they're aware of it when they buy the food itself.

But because of these price increases, you have seen that the fast food has now become the mid-tier priced food, and the mid-tier priced food is now hit the level of where the expensive

food used to be in some cases.

And look, let's face it, the very wealthy, continue to be very wealthy in this country there's a huge income gap

divide it is widening by the day and so the upper echelon people are still going to be able to

afford upper echelon based establishments restaurants

whatever so these mid-tier restaurants are the one echelon-based establishments, restaurants, whatever.

So these mid-tier restaurants are the ones who are totally getting squeezed out
