The coronavirus pandemic has effectively shut down live events for the past few months and that means

many entertainers singers actors and comedians have seen their incomes dry up.

So today we wanted to check back in with Maisoon Zaid. She's a comedian, writer, and

disabilities advocate and she was a favorite guest of many secrets listeners. Before the pandemic took hold, May soon toured more than 200 days a year,

performing comedy shows around the world.

She made most of her livelihood from her shows.

Now she's had a pivot her business, adapt to a major loss of income,

and figure out what's next.

Well, I'm alive, which is something that I'm sincerely grateful for.
