I'm Ashfin, I've got Brian on the phone with me, and today we'll be discussing the 2017

horror film,

Mayhem, directed by Joe Lynch and starring Stephen Young, Samara Weaving,

Stephen Brand and Carolyn Chikese.

In this film, a highly contagious virus puts a disgruntled employee on a killing spree

to get payback on his coworkers.

As usual, Brian and I are going to discuss some of the background of the film before

taking a quick break, and then we'll go through the plot, some of the spoilers, and hit on our

review. Brian, is this a film you'd heard of before?

I had heard of it, yeah, I think it's like on Shudder's advertisement when they want you to buy Shutter.

Oh, no kidding, really?

Yeah, I think it's Steven Young covered in blood.

That's awesome.

Yeah, I think I dropped Shudder for a while, and then I re-signed up, and yeah, they're pushing this one pretty hard, I guess.

Yeah, yeah, so I always knew it was out there, but never clicked on it for whatever reason.

Were you, like, was it on your radar, I guess, like four or five years ago when it came out?

Not. I guess like when I got shuttered, it was on my radar. So I don't know, maybe like two years ago.

Okay. Yeah. And this one, it didn't have like a theater release, I think, right? It was just on demand.

It said it did on Wikipedia, but I didn't see any info on that. And they called it a Shudder
