Sounds like it. Matthew is the co-founder of Accounting Coach, a website that helps over one

million people learn accounting every month. His new venture, top alternatives, helps entrepreneurs

find the software they need to scale their business and become more automated. Matthew,

given our listeners just a little overview, so take a minute. Tell us about you personally. We

want to get to know you and give us an overview of your business. Sure thing, John. Good to be here.

Sweet. I think for me, it all started about 10 years ago. My father had retired from teaching

accounting at a university back in Wisconsin. He kind of had this idea to start teaching people

accounting online. I kind of had, you know, dabbled in websites a little bit at the time, so I

agreed to help. We created what is now accountingcoach.com. During that time, I was still in college

up in Minnesota. I ended up studying abroad in South Africa and traveled a bit after that.

I ended up dropping out of school, moving down to Austin, Texas, which is where I am now.
