0:00.0	Hello my friends it's Matt this is the 10 minute Bible hour podcast and I want to say
0:11.5	welcome to everybody who's new. I know a bunch of you are
0:15.2	probably jumping in right now coming over from the video that I made on the YouTube
0:18.1	channel or I was talking about changing the name of the YouTube channel and all of that
0:21.2	business. I even added a few of you communicate
0:23.6	that you've never done any kind of podcast thing before and that you were going to
0:26.4	have to learn a whole new technology and figure out how to find this. So that's a lot of
0:30.5	extra effort and I just would like to take a moment on the front end here to say,
0:34.4	you're awesome and I'm glad you're here.
0:36.7	And thank you for putting in that effort so that we could hang out more and work on this Bible thing.
0:40.6	We're in Matthew chapter 27.
0:42.3	We've been working on Matthew for a really long time, but we're drawing toward the end of this
0:45.8	conversation, and right now we have just finished the part where Jesus gets crucified
0:51.6	and gives up his spirit.
0:53.0	And then a bunch of miraculous things happened,
0:56.0	and then the centurion.
0:57.0	It was like, whoa, wait a dang minute, what just happened?
0:59.0	Surely this guy was the son of God.
1:01.0	And then we get another account of some reliable witnesses, these being
1:05.3	women who faithfully had persisted with Jesus, even funded what he was doing, and we find
1:11.1	out that they were there at the cross even though the disciples almost without exception
1:16.3	had scattered at this point and now we have a Messiah, a son of God who's dead and the text has his body on the cross and begs the question
