who make up the alternative media. Also called the new media, it can be described as those who,

through online subscription or public access media hosting sites provide content in the form of news,

analysis, and opinions. Though in the last year news, analysis, and opinions.

Though in the last year and a half, more and more the alternative media has been facing backlash and even censorship from the social media platforms that they host advertisements and content

on.

Many of the members of the alternative media make their living off these sites, and this

censorship puts their very livelihoods at risk.
