The hostess who like seats you at the restaurant had a black eye.

A full black eye.

It wasn't like, what happened?

It was pretty obvious what happened.

We couldn't get over the fact that we were like,

this is the face of the company, like this is where you have greeting people.

And my boy was with was like, yeah, I feel bad for her man. I feel like they should put her in the kitchen or something where nobody has to see her face, you know?

And I was like, yeah, but I feel like if she could cook, she wouldn't have that black eye.

Before around a week ago, I had never heard of Matt Rife. I had no idea who this man was and it wasn't just like oh I don't know who he is but that name is familiar and maybe if I saw a photo of him I'd be able to place it like no

never in my life had I heard of or seen this man and to be clear I'm not trying to be

condescending here because I know now that he has a pretty sizable following and he's

been in quite a number of things that are listed on Wikipedia that are clickable

so I mean obviously like someone's watching them like wild and out that apparently was a show he was on it was on m TV now v H1 those

are big networks that's great never heard of it he's also been in quite a few films

that again I had never heard of.

And I'm not saying this because I'm trying to be a jerk.

It's just that I suppose I'm pretty outside of his like target demographic.

Yeah, see, apparently this Matt Rife person in addition to his TV and film appearances, he also does stand-up comedy and he recently released his first ever Netflix special, which is a pretty huge deal if you're a comedian.

I'm guessing a lot of his

fans were looking forward to it and were waiting for the special to be released and so

all decided to watch it at the same time but then were greeted with the opening joke which was the the black eye joke and

cue outrage now maybe it's just me but personally and I would love to know what you guys
